A high-level delegation from the Ministry of Internal Security of the Republic of Djibouti has arrived in Addis Ababa to participate in a Horn of Africa security summit. The summit gathers regional leaders and security officials to discuss cross-border cooperation, intelligence sharing, and strategies to address emerging security challenges across the region.
The delegation was officially welcomed by senior Ethiopian security officials. Among the delegates, Hon. Fagende Abdi Fagende, Director General of the Ministry, emphasized the importance of regional collaboration and practical engagement, noting that working together is essential for building stronger, more resilient security systems.
During the summit, the delegation will participate in workshops, strategic discussions, and bilateral consultations aimed at fostering partnerships, enhancing security coordination, and promoting lasting peace and stability across neighboring countries. The visit highlights Djibouti’s commitment to proactive engagement in regional security efforts.
