Mogadishu – The Chairman of the Gaashaan Party, H.E. Deeq Abdiaziz Mohamed, played a prominent role at the Somalia Technology Conference held in Mogadishu.
who also serves as the Chairman of the Gaashaan Party, delivered a key speech during the opening session, where he spoke in depth about the importance of technology in the country’s development. He emphasized that his government is prioritizing the advancement of technological knowledge and the support of innovation among Somali youth.
H.E. Deeq Abdiaziz Mohamed, the chairman of the Gaashaan Party, stated that Somalia has significant potential to benefit from technology in strengthening public services and boosting economic growth.
“We must build a knowledgeable generation equipped with technology in order to achieve sustainable development,” said the President.
During the conference, the Chairman of the Gaashaan Party met with Somali innovators who showcased modern and creative technological projects. He praised their efforts and encouraged them to continue developing their ideas and innovations.
Additionally, the chairman confirmed that the government will work on establishing policies and legal frameworks that support the growth of technology companies, aiming to create a favorable environment for investment and innovation.
